Ok... so my buddie is very very interested in doing this swap, Hw will be running a RB25, stock turbo ect, stock box.

What needs to be moddified to get the motor in and running.

Engine Mounts
Gearbox Mounts
Bigger Radiator
Electric Fans
Fuel Pump
Propshaft???
Electricals?

What else?

Total cost more or less, if keeping everything standard...

Gary any Input here, cuase you're now almost finished...

We are far from finished and after reading Rezlo's forum the SR20 does seem the cheaper option for this kind of power. But your list is right so far

Engine Mounts
Gearbox Mounts
Bigger Radiator - dont have to but the S13 one is tiny
Electric Fans
Fuel Pump
Propshaft - only if using the rb25 box
Intake Mani - the std one hits the bonnet
misc stuff like hoses etc

We havent started on the wiring side of things but think that will be quiet a job. Will be running a Dicktator

Yeah that list seems right.

We are almost done, waiting on clutch and laser cutting. The engine has been cleaned and will go back for the last time next week. Then it is off for propshaft, exhaust, wiring, hoses etc, this is where the cost come to play. I still say the install will cost R25k all in all.

ok thats not too bad...

Yeah forgot about the exhuast.

What needs to be done on the propshaft side?

BUT remember that doesn't include new oil pump etc etc.
