GOT SOME WORK DONE IN BETWEEN ALL THE PAST WEEKENDS
ACTIVITIES.
I STARTED DOING THE INSIDE OF THE CAR, TAKING OUT ALL THE
RUBBER SOUND-DEADENING/STIFFENING RUBBER MATERIAL.
(WHATEVER IT IS)
GOT OVER IT SO I GOT A CASUAL WORKER TO FINNISH IT.
BEST R100.00 BUCKS I'VE EVER SPENT!!
THE NEXT TEDIOUS(SPELLING) THING TO DO IS TO GRIND OUT ALL
THE SCRAPING MARKS FROM THE CHISEL(THERES MILLIONS), PAINT IT
WITH LOW FILLING PRIMER & THEN PAINT!
PREVIOUS TO THAT I BUILT FRONT ROLLERS FOR THE CAR SO I CAN MOVE THE CAR OUT THE GARAGE & WORK,
SAND OUTSIDE, ALSO TO HAVE SPACE INSIDE THE GARAGE.
WHERE THE BUMPER COMES AROUND THE CAR TO THE INSIDE OF THE
WHEELARCHES IS ABOUT 100mm TO SHORT SO THAT HAS TO BE
EXTENDED. ONE THING IS CERTAIN, THIS LADY'S GOT A BIG REAR!
AS I ATTEMPTED TO FIT THE REAR BUMPER I CAME TO A GRINDING HALT,
THE LEFT MOUNTING BRACKET BROKE OFF SO HAD TO REBUILT IT FIRST.
THE LAST LAYER OF FG, ILL FINNISH IT THIS WEEKENT!
WHERE I SEEM-WELDED THE INSIDE OF THE ENGINE BAY, THE INSIDE
ARCHES STARTED TO PICK UP RUST SO CLEANED IT & TREATED IT.
REMEMBER WHEN YOU WELD ITS IMPORTANT TO PENETRATE!
WHATEVER IT IS YOU WELDING.

GOT A BIT DONE THE LAST 2WEEKS,
FINNISHED THE BROKEN BUMPER BRACKET.
& FITTED THE BUMPERS SO THE SIDES COULD BE EXTENDED
2x BRACES SO I CAN FIBREGLASS THE SIDES & REAR PIECES TOGETHER.
I JUST FG A SMALL PIECE IN THE OUTSIDE SO THE BUMPER CAN BE TAKEN
OFF & FG FINNISHED AROUND THE CORNERS & INSIDE.
NEXT STEP IS TO MAKE A MOULDING OF THE OLD STOCK BUMPER &
MAKE A "FLASHING" THAT FITS FLUSH WITH THE S13 SILVIA REAR AS
THIS BUMPER FITS ONLY THE 200SX "HATCH BACK" & NOT THE SEDAN.
& A PIC OF THE INTERCOOLER HOLES
I ALSO FINNISHED THE INSIDE OF THE CAR, LITTERALLY GRINDED IT
OUT FOR ALL THE CHISEL SCRAPEMARKS. ITS NOW READY FOR PRIMER.

you do nice bodywork, and i can build an engine or two, and between the two of us we can go on an electrical engineering course!!!

THANKS GUYS,
I'LL BE LIEING (SPELLING) IF I SAID THAT THIS IS NOT HARDER THEN I THAUGHT.
THE SUPPORT KEEPS ME FOCUSED SO THANKS!
MY BIGGEST DOWNFALL IS THAT I CANT PAINT OVER OLD PAINT,
IT HAS TO BE STRIPPED COMPLETELY SO I STILL NEED TO DO THE REST OF THE CAR OUTSIDE.
BUT THIS WEEKEND ILL SORT OUT MY GARAGE/SPRAYBOOTH &
THEN I'LL START SPARKING TO GET THIS DONE BEFORE DECEMBER IF $ ALLOWS IT!

westmother, if youre finished with that spraybooth, cant someone rock up there to spray his bike? preeeeeeez? i sold my house, so ive got all the stuff, but dont wanna spray my garage black in the process...

UPDATE TIME
IF IT LOOKS LIKE NOT ALOT HAS BEEN DONE ITS NOT TRUE!
PUTTING IN A CEILING WITH 3 PERSONS ONLY IS A TOUGH JOB!
ATLEAST ITS IN NOW & IM FOCUSSING ON PAINTING THE CAR!
POINTER FOR PEOPLE PUTTING IN A CEILING, USE A BATTERY
SCREWDRIVER & SCREWS, NOT NAILS!
AND THERE BE LOTS OF LIGHTS!
IM NOT QUITE DONE JET, I MUST STILL PUT IN THE DEVIDER & FINNISH
THE EXTRACTION UNIT.
ITS NOT THE SAME PIC FROM THE PREVIOUS INSTALMENT.
PREVIOUS THE MAJORITY WAS DONE BUT NOT THE CORNERS,KRACKS & CRANNYS.
ACTUALLY ALOT WENT IN AFTER MOST WORK WAS DONE TO GET IT READY FOR PAINT.
THE BOOT IS ALSO READY FOR PAINT!
ITS NOT SO MUCH FUN PAINTING IN A CAR, THATS ALL I CAN SAY
IM GETTING ALL THE LOOSE PANELS READY FOR PAINT, JUST FILLING
THE HOLES THATS BEEN WELDED UP.
BECAUSE THE REAR BUMPER DONT FIT I MADE A MOULD OF THE FLUSH
PART FROM MY ORIGINAL, I RIVITED IT TO THE REAR TRIM INSERT.
I ALSO RESESD THE NEW BUMPER SO THIS PART FITS IN FLUSH,
IM JUST FIBREGLASSING THE TWO TOGETHER, FILLING & FLATTING THEN.
