Thank Goodness i know people like Mical & Gary...

we finally getting somewhere with my SX... Gary did some tuning for me this weekend.. the old SR is actually pulling now. Have no idea what the okes who dyno tuned my car were up to... because their map ( if you could call it that ) was so far off in all aspects... that it was almost like they sommer googled a SR20 map.. copied and pasted. the diference between tunes is night and day... im just worried about how much actual damage that terrible PP map did to my engine :(.. and i will be speaking to them this week about a full refund on the "tuning" costs. Pity i cant get back the additional 6k in toll and petrol it cost me to tow the blady car too PP and back. Yet another lesson. ha ha

New map is not finished... we still need to sort the cold start + add a bit more timing .. but atleast now its got smooth power and is boosting much earlier in the 4k rpm region (not sure exactly where but its much more useable). To get the best tune we're gonna need a Lambda ... will get one at month end as soon as finances allow.

We want to hook up the Devils Own W/M kit again.. but the PP ECU doesnt have a map sensor... how else can i trigger the DO W/M system? i have the Progressive controller unit aswell.

yay

awesome to hear that its coming right.

I would try get your petrol expense back from PP as you drove across the county to get them to map for you.

... so early thismorning Mical and another mate came around and we installed the brand new coil packs and leads and neatened up the wiring.. Mical sorted the cold Start Map and increased the timing Parameters ( which were for some reason locked at 33deg max ) out one time. Drove it around a bit today.. almost cant believe its working so well... but still with the new timing the car is pulling properly now. And next weekend we'll hopefully have the WM operating and then do some fine tuning + fiddle the greddy BC to try see if we can get the boost in a bit earlier... super fkn YAY

That's all that's important! If you happy with it then that's enough power! :domo:
