I am sure we will all be running Garrett and HKS and Greddy etc etc turbos and parts etc if we could afford it. and yes maybe it will cost more in the long run but the initial outlay of R8000 (very cheap) +++ is more than some people can bear. :cry: I agree that it is always recommended to run a proper garrett (or other name brand) turbo but if you cant afford it unfortunately there is nothing you can do. After all if money was not a problem I am sure everyone would have a GTR. :lol:

I did a couple of additional mods (be it because I had to because it seems my S14 was in the hands of people who dont know squat) but my new turbo is now spooling nicely. I fitted the DE cams from a high port SR20 and the throttlebody from a VE. Also played a bit with timing and fueling and now the car runs quite nicely. You can try similar things if you wish but i am sure the TB28 will suit much better. Charl had one on his CA and it worked pretty well. :wink:

Hey man I'm running a t28 t 3 on my ca with the standard manifold and standard injectors. .9 bar boost no problems
