Not just any RB26 power but 700 odd engine hp !
All through GTR 4WD stuff on semi slicks !
Must be Insane, but one hell of a conversion to do!

Make no mistake, it was a hell of a lot of fabrication and mods ! Strut towers, tunnel, a myriad of other things like the original boosted RB clutch master setup..Very well done.

My alternator belt is slipping and screeching all the time. Bought two aftermarket belts and still they screeched.

Went to Nissan and ordered a belt for the RB20 motor. They had in stock, fitted it and all is perfect now. The poly "V" grooves are deeper than the aftermarket stuff.

Part number is 11720 v 7300.

Howzit bud, will do.

Got the complete Energy bush set today. The rack bushes are Nismo and better than the Energy ones I am led to believe..

Also managed to uplift the Z32 300ZX today, will be taken to the shop tomorrow. Will strip it all and check things out..

Belt cost R197.40 It`s looser than the aftermarket belt which I tensioned so tight to get rid of the slipping. That is just not good for any bearings and stuff.
Looked at the tension I had to use and it still slipped , I knew an original Nissan belt would do the trick. Same as RB 20 belt and that's what I ordered.

The belt problem was always the worst when I first started the car in the early mornings..remember, it is a daily driver at the moment..This morning it was perfect, no noises or squeals at all..

One problem sorted, a few still to go. 8)

Just for a reference guys, you get a aerosol spray you spray onto a noisy belt to quite it. I cant remember what its called , last used it in N.Ireland about nine years ago.
