I would like 180RwKw, that should be possible when I put the wolf in. I have a 76mm down (mild steel) pipe now but the WG dumps right behind the flange not further down the pipe like the pic above.

Who made your down pipe for you and how much it cost??

I got 162RwKw now so 20more :? maybe. If I up the boost to a bar or so it should be possible, with my bigger cooler.

what tubby?

you gonna need lotsa groceries to do that... and higher octane juice

(or just get cams :P)

TD04H, well it is 162RwKw at 0.86Bar. I got a FMIC (soon to be bigger) and water injection so shouldnt need higher octane juice.

If I dont get 180RwKw its not a train smash the car is quick enough, although more is never enough  .

ja - must say, the powerleves around the 160-180 mark is very nice for daily driving ;)

What's your turbo spool/lag like? (durrent know much about the mitsu tubbies)

I have full boost at late 3k, and have 8psi at 3k. and about 2-3psi round 2k

I have full boost by 2500rpm. I had to modify the WG because I had boost creap at high revs.

I would like more torque through out the range, dont care much for top end. I am putting a boost controller to keep it as close to 1 Bar through out the range, so the torque will go up :D .

if you have full boost at 2.5k rpm you should have SPANNE torque man

Ja I do but the boost creeps still at high rev. So I will set the boost controller to limit WG movement to have it "high" all the time.

It makes 285Nm torque on the wheels

Give us some dyno sheets mr gt2876r :)

I can't wait to compare mine, it should be very similar, except for the engine rebuild and all

Going to add a walbro pump and big injectors, so might have to wait even longer

Then more waiting for plumbing; hot & cold...then more waiting..

Did I mention that I'm waiting a lot?

trust me on this one man...

the first time you drive that car with all the groceries in it, you'll INSTANTLY forget about the waiting (and i've waited since september for this)

I'm getting the .8 bar dyno sheet from the calibrator tomorrow.

It was 180kw and 312nm atw. We need to do something to the actuator to get the highboost stuff working. And i don't feel like spending any more money right now.

So just enjoying the ride / getting used to the power again :)

high boost problem

Pls elaborate on your high boost issue, it sounds worth hearing even if I'm only going to be boosting 0.8 or less initially. is something leaking when you push the boost up?? is it your MBC or its thingies?

Also were you planning adding 102oct to boost 1.5?? I know I should install MSN to milk you for these answers but my schedule between packing/moving/capetown is just to horrible and I actually never know when I have internet at home with ADSL acting up like a 1976 datsun 1300.

i don't have MBC - i use the EBC function on the XMS.

I actually spoke to duane on saturday, and he said he can control your boost perfectly!

So obviously my actuator (Cuz i had to buy one - the 2876 doesn't come with one) is deurmekaar.

In other words, i need to buy another actuator before i can do the high boost stuff
