Cool stuff man. Congrats on completing the swop. Hope you get that motor sorted out quickly - it should be alot better than the GA16....

std was something like 105kW IIRC compared to the 70odd of the 1600...

Thanks

* Outlaw Thermal Tec Spacers
* VD Split Cams
* TNT Branch
* Walbro 255LPH Pump
* Magnecor KV85 Competition 8.5mm Plug Wires

Should bring out a little more in the SR20DE , Total cost was R4700 for everything not to bad

Hi guys

Little update...

The whine was finally sorted this weekend and, I have installed a few more toys

Split Cams
-------------

Got around to installing the cams this weekend, 4 cam bridge bolt broke because the idiot that rebuilt the motor over torqued them

Impression
---------------------

I am not really impressed with the cams, The low down torque is gone and the midrange to high Rpm range feels the same.

I'm going to test them out for a week or so, If they still don't grow on me, I will swap back to the stock items.

Thermal Intake Spacers
-----------------------------

These items are pretty easy to install. It took around 3 hours

Impressions
-------------------

The spacers are great, It doesn't feel like, I picked up allot of power but the intake is cool to the touch.

Next toy

Thanks Aadzo

Howzit Guys...

I installed the TNT branch today and all, I can say is WOW.

The car is allot smoother, down low in the 1000RPM -2500RPM she has allot more torque and she’s allot quieter.

It does feel like, I lost power on the top end but this might just be in my head because the power is allot more smoother

I didn’t take the 33% import duty option. :lol: :lol: :P

Only paid VAT and handling…

Next-up the spring kit or Tomei PON cams

Still have to make my mind up, Will try to install the pump this weekend wire's will be done today

Impressions
------------------

Magnecor 8,5mm ignition wire set
-----------------------------------------------------

Cost: R1000

The quality of the item is amazing, every thing from the connectors to boots scream quality

Pro’s
----------
The Car starts better, Idles better and returned slightly better fuel consumption

Cons
---------
Cables are slightly to long

Walbro 255LH High Pressure Fuel Pump
-----------------------------------------------------------

Cost: R1050

To be totally honest, I didn’t expect the fuel pump to offer any gain over the 200SX pump, I was already running in the setra but, I was proved wrong

Pro’s
------------
Better cold starting
Better Fuel Consumption

Con’s
-------------
Very Noisy
Flow is over powering the FPR, This can be seen on the fuel pressure gauge

Howzit Guys...

Litle Update:
-----------------

I got the NISTune system a few weeks ago, The sentra was allot easier to tune then SX the car has gained allot of midrange and is returning 8.2L\100Km in traffic driving to JHB every morning from 10l\100Km

I have ordered a set of Tomei cams from Jap land fro R4000, To replace the current 272 Degree cam's.

Well the sentra has been set-up.

The car is allot strong and easily runs in front of Polo GTI's.

I will try and get the car to tarlton this month before the cam's to get a base.

Any SX's want to join. I have a few Honda's the would like a run evenagainst SR20 powered sx's and any 300zx's all in good fun

Cam's
------------

Well my cam's finally arrived.

Total Cost R 4200 including shipping and guess what no customs charge other then the R25 and Vat.

Anyway here is a few Pic's of the exhaust cam compared to a stock set will compare them to the 270's once they are out.

I went for Tomei over the S3 JWT's for a couple of reasons and dyno's.
The tomei's give little more low down power loosing out a little on top plus respond better to tunning.

Lift: 11.2mm
Dur: 260
