It looks nice and drifty when it is in tho!

Its kinda hard to use the stock one to drift with. You dont have time to push the knob in every time, now you can just pull it up and get the wheels locked.

Everyone uses them.

Oh so these buttons are there so you dont have to push the button to get the handbrake to release, ok now I get it

That "drift knob" basicaly allows you to disable the mechanism that makes your handbrake stay up when you pull it. This help when drifting as when you use the handbrake the last thing you want is it to get stuck in the up position when u are trying to drift.

i used to do that a lot...

well, i wouldn't let it go all the way down, it usually got stuck somewhere in the middle!!!
