You cant polish new paint with a wool pad

, it is far too agressive. Where you using a rotary polisher or random orbital?? You should have been using a finishing foam pad.

Maybe when you do your home diy job, but is after a fresh coat of paint, and flattened with 1500 water sanding...
We using professional tools you get in body shops, but it wasn't a professional using the tool

, that is where the problem comes in...
It does an fantastic job at polishing... I needed to clean the polish pad, and then I spun it dry (I thought it was dry, it wasn't) that caused the pad to loose its fluf...
Using 3M polish, with a polisher that looks like this

Ok yes to remove sanding marks you will need to use a wool pad.
