It was awesome, dudes!! I really enjoyed it :-) I'm very impressed with how good the guys have gotten at drifting. Lots of SX's representing.

Ya I was quite impressed by the guy in the M3! Some wicked drifting there - chaining them up like in Need For Speed. But like ChemCool said, Bruno is super smooth with his drifts! And he's such a great showman - he finishes off his drift with a sideways parking, even did some donuts while sitting on the door of the car!

Veecee you were great, man! That car of yours seems to be handling really well! Gremlin and Charl were impressive too. Pity for some of the mistakes you guys made that spoiled otherwise great laps!

And of course a special treat to see the blue SX from Durban! I believe that's Fly200's restored car? Looks great after all the work that went into it!

Thanks for a great show guys. Hope we can continue this at the Rock raceway.

Bruno was super smooth, but he did spin out on the last corner on the one lap, hence 2nd place...

Sorry I couldn't make it guys... As I was on my way to church on Sunday morning, some a$$ with a Navara bakkie with 20inch rims (you know type of oke I'm talking about), jumped the red traffic light and t-boned me.

Needless to say I was not only sore but relatively peeved after that.

There was just no way that I was gonna make it after that incident.

Well done to all of those who took part and represented!!! I'm even more peeved with myself that I didn't go after reading some of the threads on the forum.

Why not? Brilliant. You doing just great. You know you love drifting, so you do just fine. I noticed one very outstanding difference between Bruno's drifting efforts and all the others: That is, Bruno starts drifting way much earlier than any one else. Even way earlier than that beamer. In other words, Bruno starts the corners very early. Others only start the effort once halfway in the corner already. This was so much outstanding to me as a by stander. Also I felt tires made a difference. With Bruno the smooth drifting feeling gives the indication the tires grip just perfectly. Like VC'sx I got the feeling the tires holding you back and the drift action then needs more power from the engine to finish and to force the sx forward. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Now this is only my Zimbabwean dollar, because I have never drifted before and only dreaming of drifting. The smoothness of Bruno's drift was engaging. 8)

You all doing just great. Little Georgie(Gremlin ) also impressed. And Charls last round was excellent.

Oh yes, the arm out of the window waving is so proud, although first make sure the drift action is in place (both hands on the steering wheel) then the wave.

Am I sounding like a drifting coach here???? No, nada. Just my opinion.  8) 8)

Very impressive! Respect! :P

I can also say that the view from the hill was awesome, you might feel the danger/speed if you're standing right on the track but to get the full effect you need a good angle like we got on Sunday.

It was the first time I used a handycam so the video might be a bit dodge but I think I got some cool clips!

There was another guy with a handycam, do we know him?! It would be cool to put all the material on 1 or 2 dvd's.

What CSL? :P Ye ok fine, it was ok, for a beeM..
