You do realize that swapping a working viscous fan for two electric fans is a downgrade...

How do you come about that? Surely you lose power wielding that dead weight around for no reason? It had to come out in any case there’s not gonna be space for it with a RB fitted, admittedly its taking longer to get there with my Rotary Anglia project chowing all the funds…

the viscous fan pushes more air and with the shroud it is way more efficient and i dont think you gain alot by removing it but if u going rb it wont fit it lol

Well if you going RB.. then ja twin fans are a must, have a look at @ Kyles build for how close the RB sits to the radiator... ( AFAIK - the biggest reason the original Viscous fan works better is mostly down to the plastic radiator airflow surrounds causing cooling when the car is in motion even with the fan pretty much off. )

NB @ Twakkie... Please don't do a budget RB transplant.

If this question is directed at me, the answer would be experience.
I would have started with a decent radiator.

That’s probably true, but as i said it was more a space saving exercise then power

those are old pics tough, couple of things happened since then. i slightly kinda sort of blew my t25, and i was stuck in Bronkhorstspruit so i had to tow her back to PTA.

Took some clever maneuvering to get her on (bit low after the suspension drop)

This was in the back box of the exhaust

so i got a t28 from stallion

up graded the plumbing and inter-cooler etc.

this is the suspension done a while back

theres a couple of other things done as well, will update with pics a bit later.

Ja that's the plan. i really want to have a RB26 at the end of the day, even though they are super expensive!! let me show you whats chowing the funds at the moment...

a mother of a bridge port, still got some toy's to be fitted

got the fueling sorted

fitted

old suspension cut out

Intercooler space

and that's why the RB is on the back burner for the moment as the SX is my daily.
