Just an update for you all, trophies have been ordered, and have started being manufactured for the event, too late to make changes to the prizes.

the prizes and packed and ready to go, as you know, TurboDirect have sponsored over R70 000.00 worth of prizes and trophies, which are made from crystal, and mounted on granite bases. These u it's cost over R1500 per trophy and there are ten of them.

The the ball bearing turbochargers and NOS kit aswell. Just to let you know, this is the largest prize sponsorship that has occurred in the history of car club festivals/get-togethers in South Africa.

I certainly hope every single one of you are going tone there!!! If not, I'll make sure I have my copper hammer with me at the next club meeting, and I promise black finger nails!!

Previously with most events and prize giving, it's always the man with the most money who always wins, as it takes money to build a fast car! So the winners of the events are going to be awarded with official TurboDirect / Garrett trophies and the other participants will be given a much more fair chance of winning these expensive prizes!

I will be putting numbers in a hat which will represent the finishing positions of the racers/participants, and based on the number drawn out of a hat at the end of the day, that position will win the prize for that event.

Remember there are three Garrett ball bearing turbochargers up for grabs, GT3582R , GT30R, GT28R each of these turbochargers are the best of the best and worth over R10K EACH!
