You should take it to a track outing and set yourselves a stock laptime, then do all the mods and go see the time improvement :)

Hi, sorry for jumping into your post. I'm from Durban and living in New Zealand at the moment. Just got a pulsar Gtir about 2 months back a real mint one as my second car. I read you will be putting on a wide body kit. I'm really interested one would really look forward to seeing what it looks like. In regards to you misfiring issue have you checked your ECU? My Gto had a misfire and was doing some random crap. Turns out it was a leaky capacitor. I know it's a different vehicle but worth a look. Planning on putting a mines or tomei ecu in mine then front mount intercooler. Lastly there's a company in Australia that does a gear set for the gtir, but if you have the earlier model you may need to strenghten the gearbox casing. These boxes turn to chocolate with higher power.....

So I did the first bit of stripping on the car tonight:
Front seat 1: 14.7kg
Front seat 2: 15.2kg
Back seat bottom: 3.6kg
Back seat top: 8.6kg
Safety belts: 7.2kg

Total: 49.3kg

I was very surprised with how heavy these parts are.
