I asked Charl if I can have some of his time to make the wastegate pipe of the new mani because he has the tig welder on hand...but after considering that I still have to do intercooler pipes, get the exhaust at the right place and time constraints, I decided to take it to my local exhaust place, they are sommer going to remove the current turbo and mani and fit the new turbo and mani, from there manufacture all the pipes needed.
I have a 46mm wastegate that I think will be to big and don't want to waste time if it does not work, I ordered a xcell 38mm wastegate, should be here by tomorrow, my hope is to get the car dynod by friday so that i can be ready for sundays supatrax at Zwarties....
Not that I am going on the track or skidpan....

sounds good Derek.
Cant imagine what it will go like with a bigger turbo.
Although I was sorta of opinion now that you didn't have the super shiniest of red SX you would attempt the skidpan. Its a ton of fun.
The old days.

I am sure I am still close to the ball park but with the T3 housing I might have to adjust here and there till I can get to the professionals.
