? aswell as the water-temp sensor.
Phinxie, which one exactly do you want to replace? Is it the first one from the left standing in front of the motor? There are mos two sensors there, right?? The one okie got a single pluggie and the other the two wire pluggie. Which one you are going for? Or must we raher check both out. That is also some sensors I need to check because of my 2.5 rpm nose dive misfire. Although the ecu stated no sensor problems

the single pin sensor is the one that sends a signal to your oh so accurate temp gauge on your dashboard.

the two pin yellow plug one is the one that hardly ever speaks to the computer, but every now and then it shouts and the whole car goes limp.

hehe

what i mean is the yellow plug one is the one that relays information to the computer box. when its out of range your car will go into limp mode, and you wont be able to rev!

K? K!

Just because the Ecu does not log fault does not mean the sensors are ok. It will log faults if there open circuits but as long as it gets some kind of reading it will happily assume the sensors are fine. In my experience anyway.

Measure the voltage on the wire or the resistance through the sensor the FSM has specs.
Hijack

Chemcool I am 45 and can squat 155kg and shoulder press 85kg Shrugs 51kg in each hand and one arm rows 50kg.
Well at least I could 5 months ago :)

Very nice indeed. Good for the health man. While we at the iron stuff: me 70 kg one arm dumbbell rows. Me to 85 kg shoulder press, and barbell shrugs 170 kg.
Duane, thanks about the sensors info. Then I am on the right track, because I basically tested them all, except the CAS and power transistor.

I am looking for a severe nose dive misfire feul starvation what ever on exactly 2.5 rpm in all gears.

Need to speak to you about that turbo intake pipe and must do a tune very soon. I am slightly worried about possible lifters/valve seats(remember I dont know what I am talking about) noises heard from top of engine tappet cover. Normally about 3000 pm. So each and every time I get close to a proper dyna tune, something else pops up.

True....

Bring you car around Sometime.
I have a spare Temp sensor we can test with and so on.

Could honestly be a number of things

Great. Tested according to manual last night. Upper reading kilo ohms was not spot on.Lower reading either, but it seems to work. But eventually will be good idea just to swop and see. Thanks. As early as coming weekend already. Will arrange.

My brother is 16; he bench presses 115Kg, bicep curls 27Kg in each arm, shoulder presses 85Kg. These are all free wieghts no machines.

Oh did I mention my uncle won the SA body building champs 40+ heavy wieght 3 years again :P .

********* Update ************

Ok update on project low-boost ...
I'm really worried about this flat section on my torque curve, It could be a number of problems/issues but I think it might be related to my Compressor to intercooler piping ...

I suspect this pipe my be two small it only has a 49MM ID compared to the stock 51 mm ID . I am looking to replace the unit with a 53 mm ID but need to re-weld my flange for my BOV...

I'm also looking at a few more tricks, My original goal was to push 200hp on the wheels it seems I have already reached this goal so I will be aiming for 170 wkw @ 0.5.

I'm sure the goal can be reached on stock management , But now I'm seriously pushing the limits and will need to upgrade both injectors and ECU with my leap to 200 w/kw

Idea's

Exhaust Cam to Intake Cam, So basically two exhaust cams.
I have been Searching my butt off to find billet units for my CA18DET
but have not been able to so I might be swapping the intake for my spare exhaust cam they say the effect is negligible but Every little bit helps.

You can still get HKS, Tommi Cams for the ca18det, But I'm not made of money.

I currently looking for a CA18DE's intake Cam if anyone has.
