Cheese and rice …last Hesketh for the year and yes it going to be hot hot hot ..hot cars hot track action hot weather .weathergurusensaymasterdude reckons 30 in the Shade ….!!! Wahoooo…….but I see we in for a few rain days for the rest of the week ….but it should clear by Fridayish ……If like last time the weather is kuk in DBN don’t forget PMB is like in a different country and I mean that in many ways !!!!.bwhahahahaha so phone me and I’ll give you a on the spot weather check from Hesketh…..
So you not entered yet ??? got a few spots left not much but hey we can squeeze you in …..got a few big hitters and some nice new cabs .one of particular interest to me is a Toyota 20V crammed into a old mini !!! Wtf that’s going to scream “quick”…got two VW Challenge cars and I’am now almost finished the 1800 8V that’s going in the golof …so some close action expected there .
Final instructions…
Drivers to be at the track by 7h30 to sort paper work ,pits ,scruitineering stickers blah blah etc out ….no MSA license needed ,one times helmet, long sleeve shirt and you can like to wear long sleeve pant aswell ….
a little bird says that the new Bunker Racing long sleeve track shirts will be ready and on sale at the track !!!!!! so bring extra cash ….
Classing is mainly done on cars power etc but we do take into account driver ability and track experience so if you a novice we do class you with cars/ guys that will be lapping around the same time ….don’t worry you not going to be pushed off the road buy some V8 beast !!!!!.....there will be 5 classes each running a 15 minute session throughout the whole day so expect a lot of track time !!!!plus we have free bunch of brave instuctors that will risk life and limb to get you on the right braking marks and correct lines for the corners !!!!!
Passengers the same dress code applies …..Long sleeve pants and long sleeve shirt, helmet, R50 plus sign an indemnity and you can cruise in as many cars as you like (if you ask nicely !!!!!) for the whole day !!!!
Spectators are free…..and boy we got the hairpin where you can hang around at,close to food and pits and really close to the action …or you can take a stroll to probable the best vantage point of the track on Beacon Hill and see almost the whole track !!!!!...............oke bombing down the two straights and going up past etc ..INSANE Spot !!!
Remember suntan lotion ….
Convoy to the track for spectators / passengers will be leaving the roof top parking out side Firkin at 8h30 to leave 9am sharp …….if you a loner play with your self type …follow the directions and we will see you there …..
DIRECTIONS:
How to get there....
Go on N3 to PMB .....take 3rd PMB off ramp ...NEW ENGLAND RD off ramp (cant miss it as it is just after 100km/h camera).Turn right over N3 and go past Engen Garage and quick Spar on you left….go around the circle and take last exit and go up hill on Roy Hesketh Drive...go up the hill for 2km the road takes a 90left at top.Take first left into PAT WARM BACK drive follow this short road into track ....take my number down incase you get lost !!!
Please remember Racing is dangerous so be smart at all times and bring a helmet !!!!

This is good stuff, wish I could be there

Nicely organised too - a lot less intimidating to first-timers than pitching up at Zwartkops...
Please post some pics from the event, guys!
