Umm ask Lotus about the advantages of removing un-needed weight, A SX will not run that close to a Stock Elise in a straight line never mind around a track and thats with the imaginary 141 kw Toyota motor a 2lt Vtec will push much stronger numbersWeight plays a big role on the track but i hardly think it over powers the advantage of a turbo
NEVER dude.can you tell me that his running stock down there
Plus all the bracing also SKUNK 2 coil over’s are not cheap so, An educated guess would be his running a frank Motor with high comp pistons, Skunk Cams, Cam gears all the other nice stuff on the motor plus management also factor in that his at the coast and he could be close to 130RWKW in a 1000KG body Hmmmm……NEVER dude.
He's running SKUNK 2 coil overs.
That's a mere assumption bro.An educated guess would be his running a frank Motor with high comp pistons, Skunk Cams, Cam gears all the other nice stuff on the motor plus management also factor in that his at the coast and he could be close to 130RWKW in a 1000KG body Hmmmm……
Exactly not a hum drum 150i luxline , I guess it has been tuned for a good spread of torque and is the better set-up if the track has allot of low/medium speed corners, If his exit speeds are good I don’t even think an Sx can run him down on the straightsThat's a mere assumption bro.
I know the dude that tunes the car (& sponsors it as well).
Its powertek Racing Developments in PMB.
The car is a low comp B20 motor (10:5 CR max) running on stock B16 cams.
Basically its a stock Vtec head mated to a B20 block with ARP head studs & Rod bolts revving to 7500rpm.
Oh...and its got MSD coil & stock injectors.
All perfectly controlled by Dictator
117kw OTW @ Tuneserve Dyno.
