I can hook up avgas - think its around 110 octaine
what detrimental effects would this impose on your motor, dont know if its the best choice for reliability
and what type of mods should one have in place?

avgas is lead based so if you got any AFR meters they'll deteriorate very quickly...
my buddy is a pilot and he saves the little bits he collects from his pre-flight tests and he throws that into his corsa, burns nice and white! but the car has started smoking lately, but i reckon that is just from the abuse he hands out.

Hey guys,
I hav a similar problem - I'm only averaging jus over 6 km/l!! After filling up I can smell petrol in the car but can't find the source.
Checked injectors - no leak, Checked tank in boot - no leak, checked under the car - no leak.
All i can think is that the breather system might be leaking or something - I'm gonna have to get this sorted out cause even though I drive it pretty hard - the fuel price is killer!!!!
Luckily i ride my bike as my main transport - atleast the beast gives me about 15.5 km/l even though I rarely do less than 160kph on the highway.
Oh, and my fuel gauge does the exact same thing - drops slowly at first and then form about 2/3 to 1/3 very quickly....
