what time?

i think i might have to be there quite early cos i'm a participant!

How about we meet up at 09:00, that'll give some folks an opputunity to go to the shops and stuff, we can then leave at 10h00, to hopefully be there in time for those members who are participating to go for registration and scrutineering and stuff...

Are we gonna braai there? I suggest we plan everything today as to avoid any further confusion and hassles... Just a thought???

Sorry been occupied this week. Sunday sounds cool.

I'll take my braai with but I'm not taking lots of meat with. I suppose if we meet at some shops we can figure out what we need to buy like rolls or meat / ice / etc.

Bring chairs if you can, fold up camping ones sell for R70 to R200 at makro.

I have a gazebo but haven't actually set it up

I vote for meeting at Eastgate as everyone knows where that is or at the shopping centre across the road. I don't know what time the drifting compo starts but how about meeting up at around 10ish?

On second thought, Bedford Gardens would be better as long as everyone knows how to find it.

I'm sure Hotstuff has already suggested this...

It doesn't seem like there was an organiser I'll phone jon in the morning and just make sure we eventually find each other. I'll also see if johan's nummer is on the cell phone app. VC & the gang are easy to find once at wesbank, just walk around & look out for the sx heading towards you, sideways

As for the others, if all else fails just pitch up at wesbank and use the cell phone app to get someone's number. I'm not sure who's planning to go so that could be tricky.

I have no idea where would be a good place to meet at wesbank I'm guessing we'll have to be agile and see how it goes.

i was at wesbank today practicing (it was my best drift session ever!!! YAY!), and i've been told that the drifting starts at 11am. not exactly sure tho, so i will be heading there early.

that way i can get some more practice in, and i'll need cos there are lots of guys entering! i signed up last and i got number 15 for my car, so i'm assuming there are 15 people entering! that includes guys from durban, joburg, kimberley, and i dunno if the cape town guys are going to be there!

the drag guys were also there practicing.

it really looks like its going to be an awesome day. i hope that this will be the clubs biggest turnout!

so i wont be meeting you guys at beford gardens, but head over to the drifting on the S's at wesbank, at the end of the drag strip.
