I used to go to the Tarlton drag days and nights quite regularly. More or less the same time I started reading the Speed and Sound - 20'ish issue. The thing is the events don't change all that much. And "liefieding" will chop my b@erew@rs...Seeing that I spend most my weekends cleaning and fixing my SX. Something about spending quality time and so and so... We will see how things pan...

busy day
I have a solution, let me check/rewire your entire car, free of charge. After I mess it up enough take it to this auto electrician I know and pay him to fix it. Problem solved.Vlade wrote:It was nice seeing everyone, once again I'm jinxed and couldn't pitch with the car...
It was a wire in my CAS sensor loom decided to brake off, ECU triggering now, car still won't start

The day was a hoot

MUST attend more events, 'formal' club events or not. One thing that came across again strongly today was that we need access to a track or something where we can play around a bit without having to incur speeding fines or any other side-effects.
Also the drag ladder saw some action; I gave our friends from Witbank a running start and then showed them some gangster paradise hospitality

JD, according to the vid I saw of the slight challange you and Jaco had, I think you and Riaan can have the first 2 spots, I think we want to save ourself the embarresment, one day when we spent 80 grand on our engine we will try again....

Oh yea, I'm in my element at these events! Don't see the time go, I have so much fun
There were lots of new guys at this event - nice to meet you all! And thanks for the SX-less that joined, WooHaa and his buddy, and even Vlade who was temporarily SX-less
Thanks also to the guys that pitched up at Shell Ultra City even though you couldn't make it to Krugersdorp, it was cool that you met up with us! Charl, glad your car is running - we did our rebuild at roughly the same time. qewrty - are you gonna post us some pics, Mr Club Photographer?
