s14 and s15 sr20's are expensive hey, but for 7k u got a bargain
when i was engine shopping and s14 sr20+box=14k - R500 more then RB25DET and box
and s15 sr20+s15 6spd box=24k almost the same as an RB26
just shows how they in demand hey
howcome you got a new heart when you just got yours running so nice if i may ask?
yea the guy payed 14k for this motor got married and had to sell he hasnt even used it since he got it from importers
prob with s15 i heard to run 6speed you need to change everything after gearbox-diff propshaft side sharfts and you need the cluster to read the 6speed -
the reason i got a new motor is the same reason everyone does new mods its a never ending string
my motor started to smoke so rings are slowly going and the cost of a rebuild verse 7k sr20 i liked the sr20 better

s15 speedo reads from the diff not the gearbox
6 speed is kak as it breaks a circlip in 3rd gear xpensive to repair but can be welded in place or some shit.
best is to get s14 or s13 gearbox and flywheel or rb box for real power
rb or z32 box is the norm for big power sr guys in oz.
Do some searching on the 6 speed befor buying one
