That explains it Adrian, the s/s import manis for a CA has very little space for nuts...

lol, ye, we noticed you lost ur nuts Dra' ha ha ha, Adz shrunk his in cold water to fit though.... lol. Mine fit perfect due to plenty space with a record size space for them 50cm gap just for the nuts, lol, but no space for the massive down pipe, ha ha ha ha

Seems they just took the SR mani and welded a CA Flange on, they did not take into consideration the bottom studs is right on the bends, you have to shorten them...and then to get your fingers in there to fit a nut...

Mine fit perfect hey, no shortening of anything, just put all the nuts on first while could move the mani, then tightened up...

Precisely, they made the manis the same, just the flange against the head that they put on for the CA, hense the fuck up.

OK, Well here is a pic of how far I am with putting all the other groceries on, I think it's starting to take shape nicely...
1. ABS Unit Removed and lines crossed as should be, just need to bleed..
2. Turbo, Mani & Wastegate installed with some nice new Braied oil feed lines
3. Intake assembled with fuel rail (Which might change soon) and injectors
4. Passanger side wiring all sorted by stripping out the useless crap and making sure all is fine and recovering nicely.
5. Yes I know, I know, I will wash the motor before completing her...
O and also got a few new groceries as said before....
10 Row oil cooler kit
Cooling ring for a nice little conversion I is going to be doing....
GReddy Type-RZ BOV, Fake of course, cant afford the real thing quite yet, but still looks da business
Oil catch tank with sump return.....
And to think im not gonna be home long enough December to be able to enjoy putting it all in.....

OK, so a little update, as I was doing the oilcooler and oil filter relocation, the oilhousing screw broke off, OMGosh...... What a pain in the ass, I thought they would atleast make that out of steel and not aluminum....
O well just makes space for some more parts.... Lets see what I can import.....

OK, Not in order but ye, here are some parts that should arrive in the next week or so
Firstly, here is the damage to my oild housing screw, ya ya, I know, shouldnt have used a wrench, lol
And here I started sealing up the Battery Box sothat the gasses produced by the battery dont escape, still some touch ups to do but atleast you get the just of my plastic welding skillz
I just had too....
And here is the replacement for my oil housing.... Niiiice, I think....
While I was at it I thought I might aswell get an adjustable timing pully set
Nope, not the entire fuel pressure regulator, just 3 spare pressure gauges I ordered
And yes ofcourse I had to make an aluminum pully set part of the shipment
Next shipment will include a high reving kit....... Wohoo .... 9000 to 10000 RPM here I come, maybe some forgies too.....
