What went through the motor? How did it get into the air track?

Thanks buddy, I will let you know, only engineering will set me back because I will not try and rebuild the motor myself, so the engineers will have to build the bottom end after they balanced it.
Pistons will be powercoated, not gonna have money for new forgies. Bonus this year will go for the family.

Draco, I wouldnt go with a knife edged crank. Knife edged crank is for race motors that are refreshed constantly (few times a season).Draco wrote:Do they knife edge cranks aswell, think I'm gonna do that while I am busy..
Having a knife edged crank WILL give you spun bearings very early in its lifespan.
You can trim some of the weight off the crank, but I woul not advice a knife edge......
Hope she is up and running soon!

Why would a knife edge crank spin bearings? If the crank is knife edge and correctly balanced to the piston and rods that is impossible.mario_200sx wrote:Draco, I wouldnt go with a knife edged crank. Never heard this in my life.
PS my CA crank was knife edge balanced 150 000km and it never ran a bearing...
