when the engine is out... it normally takes a year to get it back inside^^

That is seriously sketch...engine number filed off.

I recon buy a notch top then bud and hope for the best. If it fails then rebuild it properly.

I wouldn't mind the block if you want rid of it, looking for a nice small engine block as a table base.

The car was running fine, wasn't losing oil or water, until I went to JHB and back

so what is wrong with the engine? bearing knock?

Yeah, sometimes the car struggled to start, one night driving it just died on me, next day I started it and went directly to the mechanic driving slowly, was making a knocking sound and was almost cutting out when coming to a stop. but I made it there.
