Hehe, I was there, but I just sat back and watched the show :P

I would sum this up as my No. 1 Reason to do this mod, if the cooling works properly afterwards, thats a bonus.

true, but what i like about people showing off their dicks is that they all come up with some truths (or sometimes theories) and you can actually derive some good points out of both sides to give you ideas - keep it up gents! (but give the other guy a chance as well - even if its just to laugh at him after you've proven your point)

The only reason why I did this MOD is that my clutch fan seized and had problems with the FWD water pump... That said my conversion hasn't been smooth I had some overheating problems, I think the next step will be to remove the aircon, but i'm not in favor of it.

Now I dont know how many he has fitted but I believe its none so I am curious how he arrived at that fact. Thats the kind of character I can strangle.
no problem calibrator. thanks for the compliment! you too broo.

been away for two days and lots to catch up! actually earned some dosh this week!

draco i agree - the space gain was fantastic, but if i didnt believe that the engine was going to benefit, i never would have made the change. i also thought that my unit had siezed (as it was running all the time) but i guess after reading calibrators posts that i might have been wrong.

that said, i really dont have any problems with overheating. once i thought i was having issues, but it turned out to be electrical - and the gauges were not reading properly!

removing the aircon, that helped plenty with cooling. average temps dropped about 10 degrees i reckon.

and yes - its time for a new avatar - this kak new look has made my dudes hairy!!!! hehehehehe.

for the guys with overheating issues I have Redline Water Wetter in stock this reduces the surface tension of the water and improves the heat transfer.

They say up to 20deg F I have seen a 10deg C reduction in a supercharged landcruiser.
