anyway i said it was neat, but here's a picture to back it up.
this was when it was finished, but before it was resprayed recently!!!

ok! mabe I am being stupid. Look the 1400 is neat but as neat as everybody says it is. I met the guy and he is great person but when we talk rotaries that are neat we look at boost piping that has completely been redone, decent plenum etc. 13 something is good but from my drag days 13's were not so great. Did I miss something that 13's for a rotary is good. A 13b with a modified AR housing did 12.995. In closing the 1400 is ok but nothing to really right home about...... my 10 cents worth

Well the champ is a new project, his previous drag car was a modded mini! Give him and his dad some time and I'm sure like VC says he is just going to improve from here!
What kind of power does your setup have Anthony? Let me know when you are planning to attend an event, want to check it out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not fighting about this just stating that there are alot of 1400 rotaries out there are are damn quick! Well done to him and his dad for what they did.
I have never put my car on a dyno, I think my tuner will kill me!!!

I do not do the drag thing anymore due to "POLITICS" I have been doing that for many years and lost interest because of arguments and complaints of people cheating. Agg, but what can we say! I would estimate about 250WHP or some where around there

Well the light-weight cheapish body and rotary power is a good combination I suppose.
Politics are everywhere in every sub culture and culture. I was a competitive chess player and even there we had politics about the most trivial things. Think a rugby mom shouting and swearing is bad? Try a chess mom!
That is what I love about the car scene so far, many people are tired of bickering and are just here for a good time. With all the testorone/ego and kw's flying around there's bound to be conflict.
At the dyno day I laughed my head off (inside my head, not aloud): There was a friendly scuffle between two BMW owners and it seems they settled it the good old fashioned way of having a dice!
Don't you miss the actual drag racing though? I just wanted a fast car, but competing is fun. Like a LAN, only more realistic! I doubt I'll ever be so serious about it that I let it get to my head. Of course I might change my mind and sell all my belongings and go live in a trailor outside wesbank next to the highway...

Some of the sx's I can remember in the SNS:
- ravi pillay 200sx: runs nos etc
- schalk's red 200sx: did a rb26 conversion, think he sold it soon after making the sns coz when i went there last year he didn't have it anymore
- 200sx with toyota/mazda engine [think its mazda, guy still said it was easier for him to work with]
- 200sx s14 - purple with s15 strawberry face
- 200sx s13 - white kotm drift car
- 200sx s14 - white project drift
- 200sx s13 - unmodded stock white car in article on buying a s13 200sx
- gold/grey sx's in last month's SNS in article covering a drift event in cpt.
Did I miss any?
I know many of you don't like SNS. I can see why, but I'd like to have all the issues in any way. If any of you guys want to get rid of some of yours (esp the older ones and 1 or 2 newer ones), let me know and I'll post a thread with what I have or what I am missing.

he used to run a mazda 2l in that sx, and thats what it had when the article in SnS covered it.
but its now running a rb25det with what looks like some serious money thrown at it.
and andre was running 13 seconds not so long ago, so he must have upped his game somewhat!
as far as i'm concerned the styling of the car is not to my personal taste, but big ups to him for pushing the limits of his sx.
we couldnt convince him to go drift though!!!
