Just realized now with a bluetooth interface you should be able to switch maps via your cellphone with a little bit of work.

@ monster...yeh Avast is the best, it really works well on this machine
Im preloading them on the others i have for sale
@ Mono, i guess it is possible, if the tunnig software supports it
it does have a remote, that you can assign short cuts to
so you may be able to even use that
It also has support for a bluetooth camera
im trying to find one thats duarable enought for outside use fo my wifes car

I had to rebuild mine after i installed IE8..anyone can help with the following :
Touchscreen driver name
Virtual Keyboard name
GPS software name
Main menu screen software
FM Radio Trans Software

first thing i did, made a image of the drive ,sector by sector with ghost, and saved the image on my pc.. worst comes to worst, write image to exteral usb drive, boot from external, clone back to autopc..

i admit i have not tried yet to actually boot of an external drive, but the manual states that it is possible.. just have to change boot priorities in the bios..
i used a old version of ghost, dont like the frills of the new ones, however there are lots of freeware apps that does exactly the same out there anyways..

Great News, I managed to locate someone who has agreed to provide me Restore DVDs for the unit
So all those who bought them, As soon a I have copies made
I will make them available
so Now you dont have to worrry about having to send them back to me

Ie7 upgrade works very well

if you can give me a copy i can try loading windows 7
however you will need to fool the system into thinking it has more memory
which i can do
but i need windows 7
