RB30 std. crank ready, polished, balanced and wide oil pump drive fitted.
Cyl head cleaned, rebuilt, ported, skimmed and reshape combustion chambers with squish pads removed. Squish pads are only effective if the piston top can come to with in 0.5mm of the head, otherwise it can cause more damage than good(detonation). When removed it also "unshrouds" the valves for better flow. With the pistons i use and comp ratio i want, i would not have been able to get effective squish from the head, so thought it would be better to remove them. Rudeboy, for one had good results with the same head mods. Also some oil gallery mods, to allow internal oil feed to VVT

This build is starting to give me the same sick feeling i got when following Rudeboys build

Adjustable cam pully for exhaust cam only, VVT on inlet cam. Want to test differant timing on exhauat cam.
Waiting for ceramic coated turbo manifold and o-ring head gasket.
Hope to start assembling engine over the weekend.

New "balanced" double diaphram presure plate & button clutch plate.
Ceramic coated "twin scroll" exhaust manifold.
O-Ring copper head gasket.
