Hey Riekert! I was about to buy that 200sx, but you jumped me 1 day ahead! If she might not want it anymore, I'm still willing to take it

was to good a deal to pass up.
got there last nite at about 7pm, loaded up the car, and headed off again. got back home after a long drive @ about 6pm.
Awesome car! really. need to sort the motor out and redo the RCA's on the sound(sub not linked up lekka)
Gonna start the stripping tomorrow nite.
Oh and believe me she ain't gonna give up this car. She doesn't even want her dad to drive it when finished. basically banned him from the car. hehe.
Anyway. to Jovan, thanx for the sale. and please let me know if you can think of anything else that we might need to replace.

Hi Riekert,
Im glad you guys like the car! It's a bit of a sad site staring at the empty garage! There is nothing else to replace except the bearings. Make sure you replace the oil pump with a proper high volume pump...I think the oil pump might have been the reason for the run bearing in the first place!
Just be careful with those Nismo engine mounts when you remove and replace the engine..you don't want to tear them they are pricey! The crank pully is also new. They chip easily so be gentle with that too..a new 1 will set you back around R2600.
I would also turn the boost down to around 0.5 bar so she could get used to the power first.(easy to do with the profecB, but make sure to advance the timing a little if you do so). Turn back the adjustment screw on the dumpvalve about 2 and a 1/2 turns anti clockwise (softer spring). It used to be like that and it makes the dump valve sound leka loud.
Oh and give me a ring before you change the RCA setup on the sub. I wired it like that for a reason. The sub is also wired 2ohm for sound quality, but it you can also wire it for 4ohm.
I'm not on the site a lot but feel free to call if you guys need my help or drop me a mail.
Cheers!
