I also use a ajusa head gasket and ARP bolts on my RB30DET, and it holds up fine to 1.2 bar. They have gone 1.5 bar on those gaskets, with RB30. (R550 from masterparts)

adjuza works wonders, we all used them on the 7m's. Even up to 2bar boost they hold.

Just one thing, don't use the manual's torque settings, it's way way too low.

After removing the head and found the gasket blew on numerous places, ive opted for a Ajusa steel headgasket.. after months of search for one found one lol

now just need my ARP studs then i can assemble again..

got a update... Got the ZR up and running again! Yay this time im hoping it would last. Ajusa headgasket, ARP studs, and decent torque of headbolts.
Still running on 0.7bar boost.. will put the boost controller in this weekend and play around to bout 1.0bar boost
Tempretures are much better boosting going to 90degrees celcius and cooling down again.
Will take some pictures of interior this weekend once controller is fitted...

since the 7m only lasted this time 2weeks again.. think its time to pull the motor and open it again. noticed a small water leak found that the block has cracked on the side of the cylinders after pushing out the welsh plug today
