Gents, i have arranged your very own drift instructor, His name is Juan Du Toit brilliant drifter and equally sound gentlemen :-)

1.) cost: R500 per person for lesson - you should bear in mind that your lesson may possibly be split up into two days as you will need to work around the track schedule (oval, gymkhana practice etc)
2.) Juan will take you for a spin in his car to start off the day after which the
official lesson will be conducted in your vehicle.
3.) You must bring your own tyres
Note: New tyres = four, if you are planning on using second hand ones you should bring eight :-)

so keep us posted, if you have any questions: bgoebbels@gmail.com

Definately an ali rad, and hopefully W/M and an electronic boost controller. :)
Met eish ja! It looks like that dyno run at SAC kinda pissed you off. Was looking at the CXRacing ali rad with 2x12" electric fans, was going for $239. anyone on the forum that's using it?

Not sure wot you mean by schedule? The only way that the Rock & Juan can work out a schedule from our side is as soon as you guys confirm the dates you want to come up for. Before that we cant say how much track time you will have on each day(s)...

Hey guys Illl def pull in when you come up, Just a heads up, Juan is brilliant and very good drifter and teacher. So for max progress simply listen and execute! and when uncertain, ask! He helped me alot!

This is exciting! cant wait.

Warning with the Tyres! Make sure your front one's are really good condition and quality. Bad front tyres= Big damage! + lots of money & Tears...(also you tend to beg for lifts etc)
When drifting in the early stages a set of second hands on the back can last quite long, as you improve so does your tyre wear.
There is place to change the tyres on the rims at the track AND the more rims you have done the more drift time you have....

hope 2 C ya soon

I've got a second hand tyre guy, .. 16', 17', 18' and 19's .. about 100bucks a tyre, and the tyres are often in pretty good condition:) and if we take quite a few he'll let them go for R75 a tyre:)

Whoever is keen let me know.... how many and size's just so i can phone & check if he has in stock. and then we can go together to his warehouse, where you pick your own tyres. He's got a huge pile and it takes a while to find matching tyres.

I wouldn't drift on a 60 profile. It doesn't seem safe to me.

I'm keen for some second hand tyres. Thats a good price. I would also like to get 198/50/15's tho. I hope he has some.

Going down for a week would be cool, but I haven't worked up much leave at work yet...
