I have watch the guys there polish, hmmm not for me thanks. Problem it is a business, so in and out quick jobs, no attension to detail or personal satisfaction.

Been there done that...turbo seals.
But tell us a bit more about the white smoke.
Does it appear about 20sec after idling?
When you drive? In boost? In lag?
Does it smell like burning oil?

I can confirm the smoking during idling. Don't notice during boost or lag, but would this problem create (more) lag?

Great that means your turbo seals are cooked.
Look at a nice expensive recon or just go get yourself a nice t28.
I don't think it will have more lag...(as far as I can remember on my car...Ask VC or Gary's opinion on that) But driving with a smoke machine is not fun!

ReeceZ, I sugest taking your sx to gary's place. He will tell you exactly what is wrong. pm me if you want his number.

could also be valve stem seals, blown headgasket, blah, blah, blah...
