Not quiet dude....even tho that's not an impossible feat.
I know of a dude in PMB that drives a Honda like it a RWD.
Not sure if any of you guys watch the racing at the market in PMB but there's also an SX that runs there nowdays.
Not sure if that SX driver also posts here.
Not sure of his name.

Anyway, ealier on, I meant the Honda made the SX times look bad considering the sx is a turbo & the honda is a mere 2L

@ Rat:
Dude...3sec on a track is HELLAVA LOT
Just ask any track racer

Yeah it is closer to 4secs than 3 and that is huge.

As far as I remember that Honda was a stripped and caged car, hardly in street trim.

U rite.
The honda is stripped but definitely not caged.
I had a close look at it myself as i was impressed with the way it was running around the track.
Had a rear brace tho (if it counts for anything)

Anyhow, I reckon its still impressive considering its a stripped honda with "stock" 2L Vtec motor against the SX's of the day

Yeah that Honda was impressive, was the motor stock?? There was an Audi A3 the time before that was also mighty impressive, it was running on Semis though.

Do you know what that Honda weighs it at??

he forgets the weight difference between the two cars!

there will be a SX running there soon that should show some good results, will also be stripped out and running some good power.

Yeah, that honda was stripped out and race prepped. I drive my sx everyday, its a street/track car. I think that we did pretty well for non race prepped street cars. Weight is everything on the track. Improves brake, acceleration cornering, everything. I'm by no means unhappy about it.

Although maybe next time my sx can give him hell

The SX's are fast no doubt, Rat was doing 200KM/h odd at the end of the top straight, which just shows they are loosing time in the bends.

U guys are correct...Weight plays a big role on the track but i hardly think it over powers the advantage of a turbo.
BTW, speaking of weight reduction improving braking, the car apparently has 150i braking system on it.
