very reasonable.

DO IT!!! but bank on another 2.5 grand or so to get the polybushes installed!

i reckon that setup would work wonders. not too much like stock, not too much like a race car!!!

drive on coilovers, then you will realise what comfort really is, and how helpful kidney belts really are!!!

@rat: Its from www.frsport.com It works out to a total of about R4100 with shipping for both items. If you wanna order some stuff from there aswell. let me know and we can split shipping if you want.

@veecee:  ya, coilover will be for when my sx turns into a full race/drift car and not my daily drive anymore :)

2.5 grand to install poly bushes  I knew that they were a mission to install just didn't know it was 2.5 grands worth of a mission

another option is volkspares in jhb.

they stock the prothane polybushes for the 200sx. they look much easier to install and they cost about 1800-00. not sure what shipping would be from jhb.

i've done this job a few times, and i wouldnt do it for less than 2500-00. it requires a complete strip and rebuild of all of the suspension components and the steering rack. its a huge job! and the person installing it has to have a press, or be very good with a bench vice!

Nope, they haven't arrived yet. My order was shipped on the 8th so it should be here late next week. I'm hoping all goes as planned and I can have the bushes and springs done in time for the track day.

Yeah i know. Really hoping everything will work out in time. My main worry is that my shipment gets stuck in customs or summing like that.

uhm... with a friend to help, and with no experience and none of the nice fancy tools...

it shouldn't take you more than two full days to do the bushes!!!

nice

just need some mags

Ya, I think mags are gonna be a necessity soon. Coz with the lowering springs, the stock mags and the low hanging exhaust are gonna make my sx too low for a daily drive.... I have to go over about a billion speed bumps on my way to varsity.

I've got some mags in mind but its gonna cost me R5000 + R4000 for tyres. :(

My sx went to Gary's place on Sunday afternoon. They are gonna be doing the suspension bushes and the springs for me this week and I should get my sx back by the end of the week.

Aparently the springs are alot shorter than the standard when measured side by side but they should be stiffer so I'm not sure how low its gonna be. I can't wait to try them out 8) I think its gonna be a good difference.
