When I drive it hard and then stop en let it idle she smokes white! Now the guys at the exhaust shop said thats just the new pipe and backbox burning in...but after a hundred or so KM it should stop!

There is a little leak on my headgasket and the oil is dripping on my turbo downpipe...so it might be oil running down the flex and getting burnt in the hot pipe!

I sure as hell dont want it to be my turbo!
It happens to 90% of the SX's when you upgrade the exhaust... some say its the lack of positive pressure to the turbo that is causing it, others say it's positive crank case pressure...

Try this... take your breather pipes off and go for a drive, if the smoking stops, your PVC valve is blocked, its the metal thingy on your plunem where your breather pipes are connected... remove it and clean it...

Just remove it and clean it anyway...

Nope its still smoking!

Took the PVC valve off and cleaned it. You can blow through the one side but not the other so its seems to be working fine!

What is it about that copper thingie that the guys are removing?? Its in the breather pipe that goes to the air intake of the turbo? Just after the AFM!

Ok since my last post here I did a lot of things like fitting a new head gasket and a GT28RS turbo, upped the kw to a moderate 165kW(stock cooler and .6 bar)

Tomorrow I am getting my 3 piece strut braces. Front upper, rear upper and a rear lower. I can't wait to fit them.

Got them for really cheap R800 including shipping.

I will post pics tomorrow before and after fitting them.
