VC, wel, well, well. I closed the BOV yesterday. SInce yesterday the idle drop is sort of gone!!! I will however drive with the sx today to further monitor the situation. I will let you know. For a moment I say the bov piston is not closing in time when idles starts. I oiled the piston, cleaned etc. and set the piston coil spring stiffness, but then the idle drop returns. So let us see with this closed off bov what the situation is. Just to make sure something is still not hiding from me. Like murphy.

Rat's BOV spring had been cut so the valve wasnt sealing on idle, which makes the car run lean. This would deffinately cause the stalling.

Hmmmm.... stupid bov springs. May be I must stretch the spring to get more stiffness. NO, no, I need a new BOV thank you.

Let me please just take the sx for another drive right now. I am on my way to an appointment. So let me test one more time to confirm the bov and idle drop. I am so worried and feared the idle drop will still persist. Give some moments.
