RB20 with box can be picked up for the price of a SR20 alone,i know....as i have priced,and cus they so "unpopular" they come cheap,and guys are missing a golden oppitunity(to make 350 to 450bhp on near std internals) :wink:

What was the price on that? after reading ur post im not sure sure if the deal was that "cheap" after all.

Hey thanks guys on understanding what i ment,
I did mean Stock engine,

Im actually chatting with Rezlo to do the conversion for me, waiting for approximate prices

Just i little thought it seems like its abit easier to get performance parts for Rb25/26 at the moment, unless you guys know better

Some of the Pages iv read indicate that the RB20 is almost like a bolt on
conversion,

But take into consideration
that Andre conradie was doing a 10 second run on his Rb25

when i was looking for a engine during early last year..the places i scouted gave an average price of +- R7.5k to R8k for engine and gearbox,as they werent selling that well,as compaird to the R12k for engine and gearbox of Rb25

Im hoping to run a legal event for time once its done

If it does a 13 sec ill be happy, with all the cost incured

are you talking about the RB20det with gearbox???
