Phew, you guys make me stress..I'm so glad we have 2 "confirmed" drifters.

I'll come through for the practice on Friday as I want to have another go at desensitizing myself to the G's of drifting [last time I had too much adrenaline and basically couldn't convince my foot to let go of the throttle].

if you're going to video the event:
1. remember to point the front of the camera at the cars on the track.
2. remember to turn off the recording while you turn away from the event.
3. remember to keep the car you want to video in the frame.
4. remember to video everybody, not just the first 6 of 7 drivers, even though the guy who drove 7th cant drift apparently, anyway!

If you're going to deliver criticism try to keep it relevant or funny, adding smileys doesn't make your post funny. Regardless, your effort is much appreciated. Not sure if you're laughing to try and circumnavigate the forum guidelines but I guess that at least shows you actually read them.

Refer to my disclaimer where I have made up adequate excuses for the shitty dvd before I even let anyone see it. In particular I didn't edit the DVD, I let the software decide.

So unfortunately/fortunately for you I actually have all your runs, 1 or 2 had some spinning but they weren't bad overall so stop whining or do you really want us to howl with you at the judges decision?

no man, i was trying to give the criticism in a light-hearted way. i really wasnt trying to piss you off.

in my books any effort is waay better than no effort at all.

vuk and i had a giggle when we started watching, because when he used to video us drifting at the beginning of 2007, he also used to make the same mistakes. in fact there's one video where he completely got the record/dont record button completely wrong. so there's lots of video of the ground, and in the backround you can hear people talking, BUT there's no drifting!!!

also, as your dvd started, vuk said to me "i bet you're not in it, like the videography forgot you too" and when the event starts, the practice run, you video'd everyone and cut me out. GAWD, we had a great laugh at that.

so please dont take it the wrong way qwerty. it was awesome that there was some video! and we'll be expecting more in future!
