Head had to come off due to motor boosting water, bought the motor like this so hoping no damage to block or head.
Cylinder head off and see theres one ARP head bolt missing it was replaced with oem head bolt, can any body help me find one ARP head bolt please.
Looks like i found the problem, the hole deck of the block is smooth except for the area surrounding piston number 6, what you guy's think?

Engine mountings completly done

must just be neatend up an coating.

That block needs a skim, and the piston has also suffered a bit too much heat, you may run into issues with it so replace it while it's out.

Agree. The piston is rocking and touching the head by the look of things..check for corresponding witness marks on the edge of the combustion chamber in the head.
If it is touching, its a possibility that it may have hurt the big end as well. Maybe not. I have had it where the piston will rock on the gudgeon pin and the bearing will be good.
If its already touching you may have to deck the piston tops as well to clear ..
Id also check piston to bore clearances while its undone..

It might be cheaper to just go buy a RB25DET Neo , instead of rebuilding.
