Drove to work for the second time today. Its about 12km, take +-30 mins but when i get here the oil temp is only 70 degrees. No only i realize how long you have to drive before you can actually start hammering the car.

Joh, so you have to go to the Rock and then its warm to thrash?
You got A monster there, but only after +-15km?
How is it in the traffic?
Glad you are using it now!

Charl, that mottor looks wicked up close my friend, I have an idea for your speed though, at the back of the clock set, there is a 10K resistor, get yourself a variable resistor pot ranging from 5K to 15K, replace the 10K resistor with that, make sure you give it a long lead to start with, set it to + - the middle setting (10K), then take it on the road, let somone drive next to you at 120 keeping steady. Then set the variable resistor up or down till your speedo shows 120. This should work to get your speedo showing right. Variable resistor is like a volume knob.
Let me know if you come right cuz....

Uumm ya, I tested the idea with GPS previously, was doing 125 GPS speed, and camera went off, then again in an 80 zone on M1 through JHB was GPSing at about 83, camera went off...
My GPS shows 80 and Getz is at 87 +- , then at 130 GPS speed the getz is showing 140+-
I think its safer to be a little over estimated on the clocks as cars usually are.... + 10km at 120. Less fines ha ha
