You say that, but its just under 9% of the weight of the car...

Thats 9% better accelleration, 9% better cornering, 9% turn-in response, 9% better braking etc etc etc.....

Weight reduction is the single best bang for buck mod on ANY car :P :P

Ya, it never works out like that, I decided to strip my E30, and I mean everything, was cruising with no back seats, no carpets no deadening, no reserve fuel tank. nothing and I only managed to rid about 115 kgs.

I spent 4 hours with a blowtorch to remove the sound deadening tar and only saved about 7 kg's...

Got it down to about 1180kg's from the starting 1295kg (factory), but I really felt it! before selling it, put everything back and it felt dog slow again :P :P

new wing..

At first i thought it looked overboard! but im starting to like the look of this wing, and when the whole car is black i think it'll be sweet, .. but most of all im hoping to get some grip benifits on track, im gonna fiddle with it to make it easily adustable.

and you can see the new front quarter fenders lurking on the side. but they need some work before they can be fitted. Thanks Smooth' for the parts.. cheers
