And rods ?
What can std rods take?

Can't confirm this but guys say the rods can handle 450HP in stock form...

CP I can't say anything bad against them, I love there quality and the fact that you don't get piston slap with them, only down side is there 4-6week order process because CA18 pistons is a custom order.

What kind of boost you want to run the car at Vlade?? Did you do head gasket, head work etc??

No headwork, headgasket I'm using ACL Multi Layered Steel...

I think the car is going to be strong, I've had a few instances now where she really impressed me and at 0.4 bar boost it feels very much the same as my old 0.7 bar...

At the moment I can't boost more than 0.4 as the actuator is set for 0.4 and its not adjustable, still need to configure the boost control on the Wolf3D ECU.

I'll run 0.5-0.7Bar daily and for race and track I'll run 1.0Bar I think its a good position to keep it reliable...

This morning I was in 4th gee'ing it a bit went over an intersection at about 100 or so, it was a little wet and she broke traction and spun wheels I was like, thats cool spinning in 4th while moving. I havn't raced her yet from robot to robot only so slightly don't want to overwork the turbo, but she chirps in 3rd, which also never happened before...

But yeah I'm not planning to drag race her, will put her against some other SX's just to see how she fairs...

One other thing that have hugely impressed me was the Polly bushes, damn you won't believe what difference it makes, the car feels really planted, point and shoot effect now and counter for rears breaking loose... Can't wait to fit the rears and feel the difference.

still need to configure the boost control on the Wolf3D ECU.
Good luck with that...

So when is it getting dyno tuned??

Umm in about a 1000km, just before Calibrator leaves for Auz

A list of simple shit that needs to be done
* Fix waterpump pulley issue
* Get AC back online - working with Wolf
* Install Solid rear Alloy bushes - waiting for dude to finish them
* Install Rear Polly bushes
* Get my strut braces done
* Get steering wheel hub for Nardi
* Get boost control working
* Fix small water leak, more like a sweat
* Install oil cooler thermostat
* Finish up design of coil covers, have it cut
* Get some speakers in the car, finish my delayed relay circuit
* Found decent place to mount oil-catch tank
* Install some heat shielding / or must get exhaust wrap - dunno where to get
* Install turbo venturi - need to get some Auroduct - donno where to get

My small list of issues... If this is done I'll be fairly happy with it.

Told you what wires must go where

* Get boost control working
Good luck with that...

What covers??

* Install some heat shielding / or must get exhaust wrap - dunno where to get
Becareful not to keep the manifold too hot, it will melt.

* Install turbo venturi - need to get some Auroduct - donno where to get
Whats aeroduct, what does it look like?? What size you going, I am also looking for an intake

i hate to say i told you so, BUT i told you so!!!

the poly bushes for me have been the best mod rand for rand that i did on the sx. really livens up the handling, and its cheap!!!

as for the rest of the list, good luck with that.

and the car responding the way it does - its about time, and you deserve it. enjoy every second of it!!!!

try a combination of poly bushes all round, an aluminium steering column bush, and strut braces!!!

i sometimes refer to my sx as the go-kart now!!!

Got Whiteline Poly bushes all round just no solid steering bush (mine is still fine).

My car is stiff and direct but not a go-kart (thank goodness), probably because its not as low as yours.

Wolf part is easy, need AC gas

* Get boost control working
Good luck with that...
Yeah we tried an Audi PVM Valve didn't work

* Finish up design of coil covers, have it cut
What covers??
Aluminum cover to go over coils, got some vents for heat to escape and 200SX logo on

* Install some heat shielding / or must get exhaust wrap - dunno where to get
Becareful not to keep the manifold too hot, it will melt.
Yeah I see some of the guys use, exhaust wrap, but I think I want to keep it jap, keep it open will cover the rest with shielding, just looking for that material

* Install turbo venturi - need to get some Auroduct - donno where to get

Need some 89mm or somewhere in that region, got the company's name, will phone them tomorrow if I remember

Did my 1350KM service tonight another 1000km and it will go for dyno tune, also did my brake pads on Sunday, Ferodo's make a nice difference, can't wait to fit the Z32 calipers (One day)
