wow seems like you had a real shitty day dam haha i remember when i was running around at work and ran into the forlift forks i droped like a sack of stones i was k.o ed worst is noone saw so they never came to help me

LOL, still funny the second time around. I heard it from Chris, with the Fiesta ST, as Sean's baby shower a couple of months ago.
I didn't realise that I met Chris a few years back when I was working holidays at Volkspares when we all had beetles and he lived quite near to me at the time. Small world.
Hmm, talking of beetles I still have the pan and running gear from my first one that I rolled. Know anyone looking to buy beetle bits?

@Guy, yhe now i remember you back then.. you wouldnt give me a discount !! Malcom always gave me disounts.. so i stopped going there, true story, ha.
I dont know why i dont remember Chris from back then,.. im still trying to get him to race his ST, that thing is begging to be pushed, but he wont budge

I also remember meeting up with you on the road about 2+ yrs ago when i had my orange Z and you had a Blue ford with stickers...

Side Brace feedback
when i first showed Mical a picture of the type of side bracing i wanted he wasnt as convinced, but i managed to get him to make it up for me regardless. Even i wasnt 100% sure they'd make any sufficient difference.
well i picked the car up from Micals Workshop this evening, within the first 20m just free wheeling away down the road i could feel a difference, and i could feel my rear left tyre was flat. so i whent to the garage and pumped the tyre up... then carried on home.. took a route i knew and gave it a little stick in the corners. ... all i can say is Wow!
My turn in feels Razor sharp, before i had a little under-steer, now it feels almost a fraction over-steer,, but in a very good way. the front is so tight in comparison to before its scary. i can feel my coilovers on the front so much more. Anyone whos been in my car should remember the front end from the A pillar forward.. creaking like an old wooden yacht when under any form of stress from cornering or bumps.. now it sounds like a rolls royce.. ok ok, exagerating a little, but seriously , not one squeak and that is amazing in its self.
So id have to say in all honesty that this was an awesome add on for the s13's chassis rigidity. Although i'll only be able to test the difference properly on track in 2 weeks at Hesketh

And ofcourse the side braces werent the only things i had Mical do to the SX.. he also seriosly beefed up and joined the front lower engine bay braces ( not sure what you call them ) He also welded up alot of holes that the original guy was too lazy to do when building my Roll cage. And last ...i had him weld up the rear strut tower seams. So im pretty sure these have all added to making the SX alot tighter. But i can definitly Say the Side braces made the biggest difference and id DEFINITLY recomend it to anyone fitting heavier motors or running stiffer suspension components.
Shot Mical, really good work boet,.. although you werent lying when you said you sprayed the braces pink, thought it was supposed to be purple.. ha ha. lucky for you i love pink

hahaha well the paint was the one i showed you was ment to be hks puplpe well as close to it hahaha well im glad they do the job well cant wait to see the diff on the track now get the rest sorted in a flash are you still comming to the krooze tonight

well my wider front fenders should be here soon (hopefully as soon as early next week), so i dont mind you taking mine off again to make copies from... im sure we could come to some kind of agreement

dam me and my dad were thinking what we could do there
i know it silly but does it clear the bonnet cos with the twist of the motor mayb it hits the bonnet and leaks that way

i just wanna say thank you to brendan for letting me work on the car and being a cool headed customer that wasnt on my case every 5min like some the other people i deal with so thank you brendan
so you keen to take my golf around the track and feel the differance racing foward and rear drive trains
