@ Mical: What material did you use for the fender braces??

here we go yes gary i did and guess what it does not mess up the strength it had to be done or else the fender would not clear and im sure brendan does not want me to start cutting the sx bode to fit them in or by the way if you can make better go right ahead

I think he's just amazed that you managed to dent and flatten the tubing like that, thats about a 3mm wall thickness. Bloody heavy and difficult tubing to flatten like you did.

You washed my car??? That’s brave, you must have had to use a 80grit sandpaper to get some of that dirt off. ha

.. Draco... I wasn’t trying to impress the chick & it wasnt hysterical just a bit embarrassing , but well basically I was having a bad day to begin with, then I was running late for work after missioning around with a flat runflat tyre and oil smoke coming from my leaking turbo elbow ( this is months ago BTW ).. anyway I arrive back to work where our new parking is a shambles coz they constructing another huge building at our work so the parking arrangement is something like you’d find at some mad hippy festival. So I spot a gap and make my way to it, but I need to fiddle my angle a bit to get into it. while fiddling and just too irritated to even really turn my head and see the soft little yaris that had parked its bum out too far.. no bang just a little soft "howzit", shit so now I know I’ve touched the yaris .. so I proceed to park and go to the back to see if I have damage. Nothing at all, cool, so I walk over to the Yaris.. (now my SX's bumpers have been emptied, I’ve take the heavy supports and everything out ..so they actually just for show, I can bend it in with my pinky ).. the yaris, has a horrible HUGE dent in the rear bumper. I look around and because I was late no-one seems to be in the parking area, so I get on my back and proceed to attempt to push out the dent on the Yaris... almost successful until I cut my hand on some mysterious sharp object under there. So its looking better now.. only a small dent, but its got a scratch, now I’m polishing & flooking. Angry coz I know I’m in for some not so sweet spending. so i give up the panel beating and start missioning back up to work very late now. But I’m walking angry, head down, swearing and walking fast. Next thing it felt like Mike tyson just landed a killer swing out of no-where on my forehead, I cant remember but I think I may have landed on my arse, but got up straight away and discovered some okes Flippin Kayak was so long it was overhanging by 1.5 behind his car, a flippin Hard kayak too. but at the same time i saw someone up on the balcony at work having a smoke and as my eyes sharpened I realized it was the hot new blonde number at work that all the okes were going gaga over, so I act like nothing had happened and carry on walking, swaying a little... too cool, only to realize she'd just watch my entire car park ballet'. and then I split my big toe right open on the way up the stairs like 10ft away from my desk, thick juicy dark blood oozed out of it... and then followed by a week of other misfortunes.. goodtimes ( they come and go ) .. oh and R6700 damage to the yaris.. but I spoke to the panel beater directly and got it down to – cash - R3800 ..Still wasn’t cool
