Thanks for the info guys, engine is good and still very strong. It is definitely the oil build up within the cam boxes here. My short term solution will be a catch tank with a drain back to sump or block. I am not pulling the head to do the restrictor job.
If it wants to pump out the breathers then we will give it free access to do so without drama..

Fred, yea, must say I was spooked by it when it happened. Realized it was not serious when oil pressure was good and heard no clanking noises.. :wink:

My first thought was the nylon oil pressure gauge pipe had failed but it was not so..

I know a fair few guys who drift their RB's that use catch cans for this exact reason.

Custom made-they were out of production-and delivered to my doorstep-R12700.00 ! 8)

Sooo, got our first R35 in for some accident repairs today. Client also wants some custom work on the front air dam and bumper from us.

We have done numerous Porsche`s, Noble M400`s and a gross of Scooby`s. On recommendation from the Scoob club we got the Gt-r in today.

Oh, the tyres are 295/25/22 rears and 265/30/22 fronts !!
