Hosh bra, didnt think you would see me here did you!!!!
Really stoked with your car so far. Even though i havent felt the RB's pull yet, i can imagine.
Hope you get the wheel setup right. I know coilovers are plan, but im sure you could make a plan with another setup in the mean time.
Might not make a massive diff, as i see you "scrape region" is looking pretty narrow. But maybe playing with the camber and castor could buy you an inch or two.
An inch or two is a HUGE difference to some. hahaha

hey guys
got the car back on saturday from its tune (by rudeboy) and just wanted to say how well the car is pulling, feels like about 600bhp
rev limiter raised to 7800rpm
0.75 bar boost
smooth power from idle all the way to redline, with not a bit of hesitation, the power still feels like its climbing even at redline
response and midrange power also feels quite abit better
apparently when tuning it RB25SX and Rudeboy got it to 180kph in 3rd
just really happy with how its running, RB25DET FTMFW!!!!!
what an engine
so just thanks to rudeboy and rb25sx, well done, really impressed
cheers

7800rpm on stock internals and oil pump? Isnt that a bit dangerous?

@ Nirvash - Glad you happy
also thanks to Jacques (PPR) for coming along to help, 3 cars 1 weekend
tx to Wynand also for use of workshop and place to stay
@ Sf - i use to run my "stock" motor (the one still running in shane's car) to 8200rpm @ 1.5bar
under 8k = pretty safe if its mapped safe (enough fuel / no det)
here someone revving to 7900 on stock rb25 22psi + 200hp nitro

Damn, thanks for the info Rudeboy. So why did Nissan decide to spoil the fun at only 7000?

i love hearing the RB climb to those revs, sounds thunderous, im surprised at how it still feels so strong and making power at those revs

A friend of mine was in Australia a couple of years ago and a guy took him in his 9" second something Gtr for a spin since the guy knew he at that time ( +- 1999) had a Datsun
CA18DET that did 204km/h in the 1/4 mile with turbo alone and semi's and gear ratios to about 290km/h ( Back then Piet Jordaan did a 190km/h with his 1400 bakkie he had turbo, gas and full slicks ) they actually raced on the highway and the little datsun nailed the 1400 bakkie even with its nitro's) Ke ke ke
He staged at 8K which he then thought was WOW! When actually changing @ 10.5K!!!!!!!!!!! The car did close to 280km/h in a quarter mile

Nice to hear SX is running well again bro. 180kph in 3rd!!! sounds like RudeBoy and RB25SX got in running the way it should...
Thats pretty epic that you were running 1.5bar on stock internals Rudeboy...
But then again ive seen JUN tuned Supra's running 700bhp+ on stock innards.
Good job boys.
Still amped to druk your car when i get back home bro, maybe i'll show you why im the Big Nirvash for real.....
