I found 11 RB25 fatboy boxes ! Newly brought in from Asia.Booked myself two for the end of next week as that is when they will be arriving here.

Today I left the shop at around 11:30. Got onto the highway and just cruised the ring to Jhb, Pta and back to the East. Got off before Benoni and onto my "test road"...

Got the Ichiba hubs today. Tonight I knock out the short studs to fit the longer studs..Found I needed to ream the holes out to 13.4 mm.Carefully measure the reamers, get the correct size and come in for dinner. Get back to the shop and put the reamer into the mill and proceed to ream all 10 holes in the two hubs.
Come to press fit the studs and the friggin stud drops all the way in without help !!!!
Aaaargh !! I picked up the wrong reamer and now the damn holes are 14.3 mm !!
Oh well, off to my favorite bolt joint tomorrow and get larger spline d studs if possible. If not, Ill visit dealerships and see what they have to offer. So damn unnecessary.

On a brighter note, the car is going into boost very quick now. Usually I had to hang on to the gear and then suddenly, whoosh, off it went.

After the hub episode I thought Id have a look at the blow off valve. Removed and found that it was not seating 100%. This was done with a light smear of vaseline to the valve head and looking at the transfer of vaseline to the seat .
Whipped the very heavy valve off the gate, removed the extra outlet and stuck it into the lathe..Machined 1.6mm off the base and locating shoulder.
Stuck it back on and ...yea, it`s now sealing well and hence the boost comes on sooner and more pronounced.

So not an entirely wasted evening after all. :?

For those who may be interested, I am setting up all my Innovate logging stuff this weekend so I can data log all the engine parameters . Im sure I will find a lot of fine tuning to do on the Dicktator once I start the procedure. It will take a few days and some serious logging and adjustment..

If any one is interested Ill post here, let me know..

So it has been a rather quiet Friday morning ...Decided to see why my car jarred my spine every time I went over a coin in the road..

The BC setup was way to low. Yes, looked the dogs danglies but there was zero droop at the rear.Front was bouncing .
Re adjusted the center mean for the projected ride height and the lifted the front by 25mm and the rear by 30mm.
What an incredible difference ! I now have a working suspension !
A free plus here is that the bump steer also disappeared

Ride quality is great.
