Yip, I have.
I tried to call you on cellphone, but no connection to you.
All ok up to this point of removing the old engine, except one snag that is going to hold me back:
The right side engin mounting broken/torn. Standing from the front of the sx. Nissan=no stock. Midas nada, Autozone nada.
Will investigate Skyline 3 liter(tip from the club pimp)
Pics= plenty VC, plenty

I want to try to remove mine tomorrow...
Thanks chem

phinx - they say taking the engine and gearbox out together is the easiest. a little messy cosof the oil can like to be pissing out the prop hole (eish that sounds nasty!!!).
chemcool - post some pics dude!!! and go and scavenge an engine mount bracket at the engine importers. many engines still have them attached to their motors and they dont care much for stripping them off - for a small fee of course!

Ok, rebuild engine in and starting, but: waterleak still to be rectified and then I dont get the engin to idle. It chokes itself to DEATH either by timing, petrol,air or something. Like 3 cylinders and have to keep the engin running by pumping the gas pedal.
Lifters still quit noisy and some other sound above 2000 revs??????
Seriuosly no time for pics now, need to get the sx running and need to earn some money in the meantime. So, slighlty busy and somewhat frustrated.
Speak again

Went to check it out on the weekend, baffled me as well not sure whats causing the 3 cylinder syndrome, got spark / got fuel
but as Freddy said, its choking like the ECU aint telling it to idle, that or singles not getting through to the idle valve.

sounds like mine! maybe you skipped a tooth on the cam belt too!
(oh and that extra sound is your valves hitting some pistons they encounter on their up-down journey)
