I need to bragg a bit here. Just finished off a 1957 Chevy Bell Air for a client. Man `o man ! What a beaut she turned out to be !!
We resprayed the bottom half of the car as well as the bonnet and the bootlid. All the other work is by the owner him self.
The colour is an original Chevy Turquoise circa 1957 and was a bitch to match !
A few calls to GM in East London and we had the original 1957 paint code !!
Mixing it to the code as supplied though was a bugger up. Obviously things have changed and it came out very dark and green.
After a full day of mixing and tinting we got it spot on. Well done Donovan ( My painter..) I know you called me all sorts at the time but the end result speaks volumes !!

Well, we finally finished the little Datsun 120 Y that is going to be traveling through Africa this coming week !
The guys are doing about 8000 km on a round trip in the southern countries.
Most of the other teams have serious cabbies such as Hilux`s and Prado`s..not my mate, he has the Datsun !!!!!!!!

Hi BK.
Thanks for your brilliant work on the OPC. Much appreciated!!!
The paint work was really good. I got to see it in the evening, though.
Pls tell me if you do media blasting. I would like to do my brakes.
If you can't, can you point me in the right direction.

A project that I almost got married to. That means it took waaaay to long but due to the damage and the changes as we went along it is coming to an end. Finally !
Florin Casmuto asked us to sort out his S14 drift car. When the car came into the country it looked awesome. Then it was put into a wall somewhere, guys tried fixing it but did more damage than good in the process.
Due to new panels being almost impossible to get we pulled and straightened the car as best we could. We then cut the individual panels off the car and spent time fixing these as best we could.
All was then welded back together and the car took shape.
The glass kit was repaired as best it could-there were probably 20 broken parts that needed put together and then fitted to the car, wider rear fenders that I had bought from Yakuza but never used were also fitted.
After quite a few delays we are now ready to paint her today..
This is typical of a project that just dragged on and on for numerous reasons, mostly unseen damage and the time needed to repair all of this properly.
Truth be told, I would not take on a project such as this again. This car really needed a new back end.
the night I went and looked at her..
After a sh*tload of work later.....
and where we are right now.
Oh, and this is the car befor it banged the wall !!!!!
