Ok now here is another question.......

How many ponnies, KW's, BHP's at the wheels would you need to drift successfully around a track or course and be semi competitive?

I'm running only about 200bhp, its all about the setup and driver.

But you don't need any more than 350bhp to compete at a competition level.

It's down to personal prefference though so the best is to set your car up (suspension, etc) and do a few drift practice days, then you will be able to decide form there what you need to do to the car so that you can get more out of it sideways.

My car has had alot of suspension work and fine tuning where it's just right for me now (just need more lock), now all I want is about 350bhp so that I can do larger corners and keep up with some higher powered cars.

Seat time is the most important, you can have all the mods in the world but you will not compete against anyone without practice and fine tuning the car to your driving style.

For 3rd gear runs you need 300rwkw at least to keep up with the big boys.
NVCT-Nissan variable Cam timing-in the manual.
Helps alot with torque before coming into boost up to 4500rpm with stock cams.
Fully built Redtops make more power than blacktops but thats $$$$
Ultimate is a Ve Na head on a Sr block, but haven't seen a RWD one yet in SA.
My car's a Hybrid - it burns gas and rubber
